Tom Truitt

Self described music fanatic, voracious consumer of all genres of music and a fascination with the business of music. Tom has been involved with head hunting for over 13 years, focusing on a variety of specialties. He was one of the first employees of a boutique search firm and played a key role in driving the company’s growth to become the largest executive search firm in Tennessee. He has managed up to 75 recruiters and launched several new businesses during his tenure. Tom’s focus today is working with the music industry by placing top level executives in all facets of the industry- labels, artist management firms, business management, booking, and publishing. In addition to the above, Tom also has over 5 years of toy industry experience which has provided him deep understanding of retail distribution of fashion and consumer oriented products. As well, he has 5 years experience in financial services. Tom earned his MBA from Vanderbilt University’s Owen School of Management and his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Paul Sanderson

Song writer, artist and the most optimistic person on earth. Paul has 12 years of executive recruiting experience and is the founder of the retained firm, Sanderson McLeod. Paul began his search career with a Nashville, TN based search firm. He was an integral part of the company as it grew to be Tennessee’s largest executive search firm. His focus was on large consulting organizations and technology companies. Later on, his focus shifted to venture funded technology companies and he was retained to put executive teams together with venture money nationwide. Paul moved to Nashville, TN from Cleveland, OH in pursuit of a music career after receiving his MS in Music from the Cleveland Institute of Music at Case Western. Paul is still active in the music community - writing, performing, and promoting his songs primarily to country music artists. How We Do It

No matter if it's an entertainment job or music job, as the term headhunter implies, Tom Truitt and his staff HUNT for the best possible candidates throughout the country and match them to your needs. Since every search is a custom order, we look everywhere imaginable to identify, qualify and profile the best candidates for all our engagements.

Why Use Us

Tom Truitt and his staff are simply the best entertainment industry recruiters and music industry recruiters. Unlike nearly all of our competitors, we don’t simply search our existing database to locate candidates because that limits the pool of potential candidates. Doing searches that way only allows the client to see the best candidates out of a very narrow universe. Our approach ensures that clients see the best candidates that are available, not just those in our database. Testimonials "Tom is the most diligent employee search firm that we have used and he delivered exceptionally fast and fulfilled our very high expectations. His service paralleled our staffing needs."
